Rosneft sends claim to Germany for external management damages
BERLIN, Apr 18 (PRIME) – The lawyers representing Rosneft have sent a claim to the Federal Ministry for Economic Affairs and Climate of Germany for compensation of losses from external management of its affiliates, a spokesperson for Malmendier Legal told PRIME on Tuesday.
The lawyers also sent another lawsuit against a court decision to prolong external management.
On September 19, the Economic Affairs and Climate Action Ministry of Germany said that the government had transferred Rosneft's subsidiaries RN Refining&Marketing and Rosneft Deutschland, including its stakes in oil refineries Schwedt, MiRo, and Bayernoil, under the control of the Federal Network Agency.
In March 2023, the external management was prolonged for six months.
